Stała ekspozycja obejmuje 11 galerii, które są zorganizowane chronologicznie w wystawach tematycznych. Widoki z życia codziennego, sztuki i kultury w Bizancjum od wczesnego Bizancjum (ok. 4th-7th) przez okres Post-bizantyjski (1453-19th c.) prezentowane są dzięki archeologicznym zbiorom muzeum. Dwie galerie poświęcone są prezentacji zbiorów prywatnych Dimitrios Ekonomopoulos i Dori Papastratou, które zostały przekazane Muzeum przez kolekcjonerów rodzin. Ostatnia galeria (11) poświęcona jest odkryciom przeszłości, oraz prezentacji poglądów w przeszłości poprzez wystawę w muzeum.

 

The permanent exhibition extends through 11 galleries, organized chronologically in thematic exhibits. Views of everyday life, art, and culture in Byzantium from the Early Byzantine (4^th-7^th c.) through the Post-Byzantine period (1453-19^th c.) are presented through the museum’s archeological collections. Two galleries are devoted to the presentation of the private collections of Dimitrios Ekonomopoulos and Dori Papastratou, which were donated to the Museum by collector’s families. The last gallery (11) is devoted to the discovery of the past and presentation of views of this past through a museum’s exhibition.
